This page describes our various policies. Generally speaking, the goal is to keep things as simple as possible for ourselves and for you; nonetheless clarifications are often useful on certain policies.
Privacy and Data Security Policy

For your protection, we do not store your credit card information ourselves and do not have access to your card information after a transaction is complete. In addition, any information we keep stored on our local network is encrypted using 256-bit encryption to safeguard your data. As a further precaution, CrossFit de l’ouest does not save, store, or otherwise retain your credit card information on our servers.
Third Party Sites
CrossFit de l’ouest contains links to third party websites; CrossFit de l’ouest is not responsible for the privacy of any information on linked sites. It is your responsibility to read their privacy policies.
Refunds & Transfers
CrossFit de l’ouest adheres to all guidelines set by the Office de la Protection des Consommateurs. As such, you may within the first 10% of any membership cancel it for a refund of the entire unused portion of your membership. As an example, for a 6 month membership, you may cancel without penalty at any time within the first 19 days. Note that the 10% applies to the first date at which our services are made available to you, not the moment you make payment. CrossFit de l’ouest as a policy does not offer refunds on memberships past the first 10% of your membership under most circumstances; however, if you wish to cancel your membership you can email us at [email protected] as we can offer refunds or offer alternatives at our discretion. Please note that CrossFit de l’ouest memberships and classes cannot be transferred or otherwise exchanged once purchased.
As a general rule CrossFit de l’ouest is extremely flexible in terms of suspending membership if you advise us in advance in writing (via email or by letter) a minimum of 1 week prior to the date you wish to suspend your membership. As a matter of policy, you may suspend your monthly membership for 2 weeks at any point during a monthly membership without penalty so long as you advise us in advance as mentioned above. For agreements longer than one month (e.g. 3 or 6 months), you may suspend your account for up to 6 weeks without penalty. CrossFit de l’ouest will evaluate membership suspension requests which falls outside these guidelines on a case-by-case basis.
Payments and Cancellations
Group Class Cancellations
You may cancel without penalty up until 2 hours before the work out. If you cancel within the last two hours of class time or you do not show up to a class you reserved, this class will be counted as being used.
Personal Training Appointment Cancellations
If you wish to cancel an appointment, you may do so without penalty up to 24 hours before your appointment. If you cancel within the final 24 hours, a penalty of 50% of your training fee will be assessed; the other half of your training fee will be saved as a credit which can be used toward your next training session. If you do not show up for your appointment and do not give any advance notice, you will forfeit the cost of your training.
Lost & Found
CrossFit de l’ouest will keep any found items for a minimum period of 1 month, after which items found in the gym may be donated to charity or otherwise disposed of.
